PhD, Master of Science in electronics engineering, Head of The Institute of Electron Technology (ITE) in Warsaw. Her research interests are focused on innovative technologies of multifunctional materials and semiconductor structures for nanoelectronics, photonics, high frequency instruments and sensor techniques. Author and co-author of over 250 publications, Head of 10 international research projects. Member of the Committee of Electronics and Telecommunications Polish Academy of Sciences. Member of the Evaluation of Research Units (Polish acronym is KEJN). Member of the Commission of Applications Evaluation and Implementation of FP7, FP6, FP7 and H2020 FP7 projects under the European Union's Framework Programmes.
Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology
Lech M. Grzesiak received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees from the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), Warsaw, Poland. He is Senior Member of IEEE (2003).
In 1977, he joined WUT, where he is currently a Full Professor and holds the position of Dean of the Electrical Faculty. From 2004 to 2012, he was with the Institute of Physics, Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU), Torun as a Professor . He was also the Co-Director of the European Centre of Excellence on Power Electronics and Intelligent Control for Energy Conservation—PELINCEC 2003–2006.
He has directed more than 30 R&D projects in the field of industrial electronics. He is the author or coauthor of more than 150 papers and as well as 2 books and chapters in many of books. He is the holder of more than 40 patents. His main research interests are in the applications of artificial intelligence in control systems, generally dedicated for adjustable-speed drives including automotive electric drive, servo drives, power electronic converters, and electrical energy generating and storage systems.
Prof. Grzesiak many years was an Associate Editor of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS and currently is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transaction on Industrial Informatics.
He is Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering (IJECE).

Vice-Rector for Organization and Student Affairs of Medical University of Lodz
was born in the 16th of September 1962. His parents were working as teachers. In 1968, he began to attend primary school No. 147, and from 1971 to primary school No. 51 in Łódź. In 1976, he began his education in high school No. 9 in Łódź, in artistic class. He graduated in 1980 and began his studies at Medical Academy of Łódź. After graduation in 1986, he was an intern in Copernicus Regional Specialist Hospital and Janusz Korczak hospital in Łódź. On the 1st of October 1987 he started working at Copernicus Regional Specialist Hospital in Łódź in the Department of Tumor Pathology. A year later he became a full-time assistant in the Department of Tumor Pathology at the Department of Oncology - the Medical Academy in Lodz, Headed by professor Leszek Woźniak. He acquired his first degree specialty from anatomical pathology in 1989, in 1993 a specialty from pathology of cancer. In 2000, he passed the European Board of Pathology. Then he opened specialization of anatomical pathology, which he acquired in 2009. Since 2013 he's been a national consultant in this field. In January 1992, defended his doctoral thesis, "Number and Distribution of Dendritic Cells vs. Intensity and Composition of lymphocytomas in skin and stomach cancer. Immunohistochemical examinations"*. Leszek Woźniak was the thesis' supervisor. In 1992, he was an intern for a short period of time from the scope of the immunohistochemistry in Max Planck Institute in Göttingen. He was a scholar of the Kosciuszko Foundation at the National Institute for Neurological Diseases in Bethesda / Frederick, USA (1994-1995), where he conducted researches on the propagation of prions in experimental Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease in mice. He was dealing with primary brain tumors. Moreover, he participated in the study of hemorrhagic fever viruses. Subsequently, he received a scholarship from the Austrian Government to stay at the Institute of Neurology at the University of Vienna in 1995-1996. As a result, he wrote his habilitation thesis, called: "Molecular and Immunohistochemical Analysis of Certain Pathogenic Factors for Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease in Mice"*, defended at the Faculty of the Medical Academy in Lodz (10th of June 1997). In addition to neuropathology, the subject of scientific research was related to other cancers, especially breast cancer and lymphatic system. Between 1999 and 2001 he took trips as a consultant to the University Hospital in Tromsø in Norway. In 1995, he became an Assistant Professor. Since 1998, he has been a Head of of Pathology and Oncology Department and since 2002, a Head of the Oncology Department at Medical Academy in Lodz. Also in 2002, he was entitled as a Professor, and obtained the position of University Associate Professor. In 2004 he took up his possition as full professor. Between 2002 and 2005, he worked as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. Since 2004, he has been a member of the Senate of the Medical University in Łódź. Between 2005 and 2008 he was working as a Vice-President of Regional Medical Chamber in Łódź and as a Chairman of the Committee for Ethics. In 2008 he became a Vice-President for Research and International Cooperation, and in the next term he became a Vice-President for Students and Organizational Issues. In his two terms, he used to be the first Deputy Rector. In 2016, he won the elections of Rector.

The main subject matters of Maria Richert’s research are issues from materials science engineering, with achievements especially in area of deformation of metals and alloys with the use of strong plastic strain processes (cyclic extrusion compression -CWS, an equal channel angular processing -ECAP, hydrostatic extrusion – HY); achievements in producing and studying nanomaterials, analysing aluminium alloys with special regard to thermal processing of these alloys as well as modification of the composition of aluminium alloys enhancing the efficiency of extrusion, matters of surface engineering, including nitrification, settling anti erosion covering and underseal by means of new methods using plasma; achievements in the field of powder consolidation for electrical contacts. She dealt with designing composite materials, phase analysis and chemical composition in coverings and composites.

She presented 40 papers on international and national conferences and attended 50 conferences. She is a co-author of 4 patents. She took part in co-creating or managing 3 implementation to the industry (Grupa Kęty S.A., Plasma System S.A., Fabryka wentylatorów „Fawent” S.A.).
In total, during her academic career she participated as a contractor, main contractor and manager in 61 research projects. In the last 4 years, she was a manager of 4 projects and 8 industry-commissioned works. According to Web of Science data – h-index equals 12.

Since 207, she has been dealing with the issue of clusters and cooperation within the area of strategic management. Katarzyna Adamiak has experience in research design, she used to work as a manager of qualitative and quantitative research. She actively participates in numerous conferences, where she has published the results of her research.
For 4 years, she has been working as an academic lecturer of subjects concerning management sciences in Polish and English language. Today she works as a Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Management at the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw.

Piotr Guzdek, PhD Eng., author and or co-author of almost 60 publications in scientific journals, including 40 publications in prestigious journals highlighted in Journal Citation Reports. He participated in 12 presentations at the national conferences and in 26 international conferences. He is a co-author of one patent and three patent applications. Piotr Guzdek, PhD Eng., actively raises funds for basic research and industrial research related to development of innovative, reliable solutions for the Polish industry. He conducted 3 research projects, funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the NCN. In addition, he participated as a main contractor in 4 research projects, 3 European projects and 1 POIG project.

Doktor habilitowany w dyscyplinie Inżynieria Środowiska, Górnictwo i Energetyka w dziedzinie nauk inżynieryjno-technicznych. Od 2022 r. Pracuje na stanowisku profesora Politechniki Warszawskiej w grupie pracowników badawczo-dydaktycznych na Wydziale Mechanicznym Energetyki i Lotnictwa w Instytucie Techniki Cieplnej im. B. Joanna Janczycka graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. She completed postgraduate studies in negotiation and other alternate dispute resolutions at the University of Warsaw. She completed her doctoral studies at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, Institute of Political Science. She was involved in the internal audit of the public finances sector at the University of Economics and Computer Science in Warsaw, and also has a postgraduate degree from the First School of Ombudsmen for Equal Treatment, supported by the Ombudsman for Civic Rights in Poland.
She has been an employee of the Agency of Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARMA) since 2002, and an advisor to the President of the ARMA since 2007. The scope of her tasks includes conducting projects at a level of strategic importance for the Agency; preparing analyses and reports containing solution proposals for the chosen areas of the ARMA; issuing opinions about the drafts of ordinances, decisions and internal regulations; collaborating with the controlling state bodies, and also with law enforcement and administrations of justice.
She is the chairwoman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Employees of Public Institutions, including, among others, the Trade Union of the Employees of the Agricultural Agencies and Institutions. She is also the chairwoman of the Trade Union of the Employees of the Agency of Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture – the largest trade union organization in the ARMA, having its structures in every county in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
